Due to the nature of the materials, these are made to order and typically take up to two weeks to make. These bottles ship direct to you from the prop maker in Hollywood.

Please set down on wax paper before lifting it off the table for use! As these bottles tend to stick to the table and shatter upon pick up.

If you are going to fill the bottle. Fill less than 1/3 and only with water. Allow water and bottle to adjust to room temperature.

These bottles can melt in temperature of over 80 degrees. Do not leave in a hot vehicle or in direct sunlight. Do not order in hotter climates. Or allow to sit in a box on your porch for hours without anyone there to receive it.

You can use this bottle for everything from a bar room brawl scene to a comedic domestic dispute on stage.

These are props specifically designed to be safe when whacked against a performer! They are made as screen or stage used props with the intention of being struck against an actor or stunt person. Note that "safe" is a really relative term. Nothing that strikes a person can be 100% safe, but these are made extremely lightweight from material that easily break, bend or shatter upon contact. The resulting pieces are generally safe from causing injury. Note that these prop glass items shatter and look like real glass. Although the material cracks, crumbles and shatters very easily, there may be some sharp edges that in the right circumstance may injure your actor. IN ALL CASES: PROTECT ACTOR'S and BYSTANDER'S EYES. None of these products are safe to get in performers eyes.

Can they hurt or cut me or others? The simple answer is yes. The material used is brittle, but the edges are still very sharp. A person can be cut or injured if caution and common sense are not used when utilizing these props. Here are two tips to help keep you and your associates safe.

1. Break the object at it's weak spot. In a bottle for example, the safest spot to break the prop is on the large side where the main label would be. It has no sharp edges and presents little resistance to breaking. Avoid the neck, as it has been made thicker for strength, and isn't as brittle.

2. Use proper striking technique. When smashing a bottle against someone use a quick flicking action rather than a sweeping action, and never "crush" a prop into someone. Even the most fragile props can hurt someone if the prop is ground into someone. A tapping motion that rapidly retracts the remaining piece away from the actor is the best method.

Break away bottles are rarely a shelf stocked product because they are so delicate and susceptible to damage in not only handling but temperature.
