Create convincing aged blood effects with this dark stage blood.  Its deep red color recreates the look of oxidized blood, adding depth to simulated wounds, Halloween characters, theatrical makeup, and film effects.

The thick corn syrup based liquid stays fluid, giving you time to shape and refine your effects while maintaining a realistic wet appearance. Supplied in a 1 oz. (30 ml) squeeze bottle with a squirt tip for convenient dispensing.

Application and removal

Dispense a small amount into a cup, then apply with a flat brush, stipple sponge, texture brush, or disposable cotton swab. Work it into the deepest areas of a prosthetic wound to create convincing depth. Suitable for use on the face, body, props, and costumes. Ben Nye also identifies this formula as suitable for use in and around the mouth.

Remove from skin with warm water and soap. The formula washes out of most fabrics, but its concentrated color can stain. Test a small, inconspicuous area of skin or fabric before full application.
