Different versions of this trick have been sold for years under names such as "Bamboo Escape", "Mystic tube", "Chinese Wrist Cuff Escape", etc.

A solid PVC tube and two lengths of rope are shown to the audience. The magician’s wrists are bound with the ropes which are passed through the tube. the magician is able to instantly and visually escape from the bondage!
